Software Support Sales Representative
The SSSR is the primary contact for software maintenance sales. The SSSR is an integral part of the Services organization, focusing on Support Contract renewals, and up-lifting customers’ maintenance plans through targeted offerings that deliver increased value whilst maximising Services revenue. The position requires multiple skill sets ranging from contract review and negotiation, to service positioning and training.
The SSSR must leverage his/her experience in closing business on time, cross selling, understanding general accounting principals, and maximising revenue generation. In addition to focusing on new sales, the SSSR must identify and manage potential barriers to on-time renewals so the risk of late, reduced or cancelled contracts is minimised.
The SSSR will lead the software support sales process by working with various groups including the HP Services Sales team, contract administrators, software license sales team, Enterprise Account Managers, Services Partners and various support delivery teams. The SSSR will facilitate cooperation between these groups and deliver ongoing training and advice so that sales and administrative processes operate effectively.
