Faridah Hameed is a communication strategist who has honed her skills over the last 20 years in various sectors of the industry. Her career spans work in journalism, marketing communications, public relations, publishing, multimedia content development and training.
Over the years, she has worked with senior management to develop creative concepts, content development, presentation, and delivery. Some of her major clients have included the Multimedia Development Corporation (MDEC), the United Nations Development Programme and The Malaysian Institute of Integrity.
She also set up the Genesis Initiative with a mission to nurture the life, career and leadership skills of young adults. Her dream is to have an academy where young adults from all walks of life come to learn values and skills to become better human beings and understand each other, without the boundaries of race, religion, gender and socio-economic background.

MARIANI MOHAMED
Practice Lead, Financial Services Industry, Consulting & Integration, HP Services, Technology Solutions Group, Hewlett-Packard (M) Sdn Bhd.
Mariani is responsible for the management of the consulting and integration services businesses in the Financial Services Industry for HP Services. This includes business development of IT solutions, and IT solutions sales and delivery.
Hailing from the banking industry, Mariani has been with Hewlett-Packard (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd for over 11 years. Mariani has a degree in Information Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the United States.
Mariani will speak about a day in her life at HP and how HP today is empowering women in the IT workplace. She will also show how to balance work and family commitments, and to increase effectiveness in both the corporate and her private world.
WENDY LEE
Professional Image Consultant, Chapter One Consultancy
The founder of Chapter One, Lee helps men and women to define and refine their image and style through wardrobe, communication, and etiquette and protocol skills. She is one of the few internationally trained and qualified image consultants in Malaysia.
With constant promotional travel throughout the Asia-Pacific, Lee’s accumulated know-how in business development, marketing and customer relations resulted in her clinching the prestigious Salesperson of the Year Award.
Lee was invited to be a judge for the Miss Astro Chinese International Pageant 2005 and 2006 as well as for the Subsidiary Titles Award. She was also a guest speaker at the 11th Malaysia International Jewellex Fair, which was hailed as a record breaker in the Malaysia Book of Records as the "Biggest Jewellery Fair" since 1994.
Until recently, Lee was style advisor for Astro’s AEC news programme Evening Edition. She has since garnered considerable media recognition for her expertise in the image field with TV appearances on Astro, 8TV and ntv7 as well as features in The Star, The News Straits Times, Cleo, Her World, Malaysian Women’s Weekly, CittaBella, Rias and Jelita.
In May last year, Lee was invited to chair and speak at the Asia Business Forum in Bangkok. She received rave reviews for her inspiring session on Image and You! She was recently appointed Media Prima Berhad image consultant and is an external tutor at Carven Ong's Fashion Academy.
